
Consulting service Company Safety and Environmental policy, Shipboard Safety Management System Designated Person Ashore (D.P.A.), monitoring for Shipowners Diagnostic (appraisal) SMS audit As required by the ISM Code, the Company can establish the Safety and Environmental Company policy and can create the documented procedures that are to incorporate in the Safety Management System (SMS) both ashore and onboard the vessels. These cover mostly all aspects of shipboard operations as flls:
• Issue and control of the Documentation of the Safety Management System,
• Carrying out and monitoring the Verification, Review and Evaluation of the Safety Management System
• Processing of the Safety Management System Reports
• Updating the SMS with the latest National and International Rules and Regulations applicable to the Company and Ships
• Monitoring the Training Requirements and Drills of both shorebased and shipboard personnel
• Evaluating the Performance of personnel ashore and aboard
• Maintenance of ship’s equipment, machinery and installations
• Maintenance of Ship Certification
• Handling of Class and Flag Matters
With respect to the IMO International Ship and Port Facility (ISPS) Code - all documented procedures could be incorporated in the SMS as well.
